This place had fantastic food the reminded me of my abuela's food. I ordered the mole. Service was great and quick. The atmosphere was chill. There are a few items that I would like to try that aren't on other places menus. I will be back.

We went to this restaurant for the first time. I found it to be wonderful. Te food was fantastic. I usually don't eat refried beans because they are not make right. These beans were wonderful. I can tell that they were home make. Service was great very attentive . The ambiance was really nice not your atypical Mexican but very nice and clean. I will be back

Went with a large group on a Friday night and they were able to arrange tables to get us seated at the busy time. The food is fresh and delicious

Great real Mexican food. Ask for a recommendation if you don't know what to order, though anything on the menu will be good. The owner uses fresh ingredients and takes care to deliver great tasting food.. The salsa tasted so fresh and full of flavor. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant is clean, and I love the tile on the bar and bathroom floors. This local small business so please patronize.

Stopped here for lunch and was very impressed. Good flavorful food (had chicken fajita), reasonable prices and great service. Newly renovated, family run and very clean. Would definitely recommend it.

Excellent food! We really enjoyed the menu selection, conversation with the owner who took our order, and homemade horchata. They really care about the quality of their food and that their customers are happy.

Both the food and service were very, very good and the next time we are in Sheboygan we will return.

An all-around great experience. Chips tasted freshly fried, salsa was fresh. Service was fast, ambiance was nothing that'll blow you away, but the food is what we're all really here for. We ordered enchiladas de mole con pollo and a huarache campechana. I keep retrying mole over and over again, and finally, here at Cocina Mi Familia, is where I felt like, yes, I get it - it's complex, hits sweet, then cinnamon-y, and then you get hits of the chicken and it is simply *chef's kiss*. The huarache? Also all around savory: the meats were tender, bursting with spice, and was remarkably filling (we took some home, too). Our waitress was lovely, you pay at the counter, and I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Mexican food just passing through Sheboygan. Give it a try, they seem to be beloved by locals and a takeout-favorite.
